Originally from the Dominican Republic, Noel Salcedo realized his passion for capturing people as a child in school drawing caricatures of those around him. He spent 2 years at the Art Institute New York studying web design, before discovering photography. Noel left the Art Institute fueled by his desire to learn everything he could about the technical aspects of lighting and photography.

A self-taught photographer, Noel focuses his attention on fashion and fine art. His style lends itself perfectly to unique fashion portraiture and celebrity photography, often capturing the unexpected moment when guards are down.

Noel has recently shot for R&B singer Nomi and fashion label beck(y). His work can be found in issues of Dazed & Confused magazine, Beautiful Decay Magazine and he has been recently contracted by The New York Times.

Noel Salcedo shoots in a digital format and currently resides in NYC.
